Foods That Help Protect the Heart

Some say that garlic and foods rich in vitamin E can substitute the intake of medications. Is this possible? Of course, no food is a panacea, if your lifestyle is unhealthy as a whole. Stress, alcohol, sleep deprivation, and many other factors have their effect on the body.

Speaking of foods to be present in a healthy heart and good for the heart, we cannot just say that a healthy diet is just a balanced diet. While everything should be consumed in moderation, interestingly – the heart prefers some foods. The heart loves ginger, morello-cherry, virgin soil, dill, and parsley. Favorite foods of the heart are also salmon, avocado, peanuts, wild fruit, grape, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. In addition, mushrooms, grapefruits, melon, beans, veggie oil, spinach, and corn can be added to the list. Do not forget cumin, red pepper, cabbage, rice, black chocolate, and tea. Baked potatoes have their special place as well. They are rich in potassium which is quite beneficial for the hearth. One popular fish and the heart’s favorite is mackerel. Its meat is rich in unsaturated fatty acids Omega 3 that have a positive effect on the blood vessels. Mackerel’s meat also contains large quantities of vitamin C.

Notably, unsaturated fatty acids are not only beneficial, but they are an important part of your dietary requirements.  This type of acids can be found in seeds, nuts, and fatty fish. Unsaturated acids help protect the body from various diseases because they dilute the blood and reduce the risk of blood clots being formed. Unsaturated acids help lower high blood pressure as well. However, if you do not balance them with other foods and do not exercise, your bad cholesterol is likely to increase. High levels of bad cholesterol form slag particles that stick to the walls of the arteries. The easiest way to limit bad cholesterol is to avoid pre-cooked meals, fatty meat, whole milk, and dairy products.

Make sure you consume more products that are rich in vitamin E. This vitamin dissolves in fat only. This means that you should consume unsaturated fats so that your body can absorb vitamin E better. In addition to these beneficial effects, unsaturated fatty acids help lower and normalize high blood pressure. Finally, include in your diet avocado, green vegetables, and seeds. All these are rich in vitamin E.
