Our mission is “To inspire healthier communities by connecting people to real living.” Comfort Homes works as one big family. Our employees share the same love for every project we undertake, which helps infuse a sense of personality in all our projects right from inception.

Our vision is “Building a Better Life”. This is because our focus is not just on premium homes but also on affordable housing solutions for the growing population in Uganda. We are participating in the government’s vision to have economic growth in rural and urban areas by providing quality construction, with great designs and unique concepts. We also envision being leaders in the real estate business by setting the pace in the way we construct our projects and in the value we give our clients.

Why we are here

Creating good housing experiences

There is potential in Uganda. It is a God-blessed nation. Its soil, topography, rainfall and location are prized possessions. Living in this country should be wonderful. Research however shows that there is a huge deficit of housing that keeps growing even as the youth population continues to grow. This, we felt, was a problem and why Comfort Homes was created.

Comfort Homes was started because we value not just houses, but homes. When we came into the market, the houses that were being sold were going at high prices. We wanted to do something different and speak to the needs of people by providing something of value. We realized that one of the ways to do this was to build condominiums. With the Condominium Property Act 2001 in place, we knew this would be possible, and so in 2016, we began making this passion a reality.

At Comfort Homes, we recognize that people want to own property. Many Ugandans pay rent for years and the thought of not having money to pay for the next month is always hovering in their minds. We want these people to feel safe. We want them to own a house that they feel secure in and that they can pass down to their children.

We also recognise that others want to buy apartments and rent them out so they can earn an income, while others in the diaspora want to come back and settle, or visit regularly and want to have a place to call home while here. We want to cater for them too.

We also believe when a person has decided to buy a home for himself or herself, it is hard-earned money that they want to use to create a legacy and the option to move on to something better. Comfort Homes blend these things.

Our vision for the future is to help every Ugandan have a house of their own. It is a tall order, but we believe this is possible, one “Casa” (home) at a time.

It's not just about construction, but creation

We at Comfort Homes believe that a thing constructed can only be loved after it is completed, whereas a thing created is loved even before it exists. This philosophy is what differentiates us and makes us unique. We have a passion for construction of good quality houses. We are particular on the use of only branded and UNBS certified materials. We ensure the layouts internally are right, there is least wastage, and optimum use of the carpet area. We also try to maintain privacy for our apartments, and to the best of our ability make sure there is no obstruction of their view and air circulation. You get what you see. The arrangement and layout of Comfort Homes’ apartments in Kampala also maximizes natural light, by providing spacious yet private balconies and great natural views to enable one to relax comfortably.

We work with the rules and guidelines set by the country. We work with the municipality and ensure to have approved plans.

Our goal is to build “Comfort Homes” and take the real estate industry to newer heights by setting standards for quality in construction and providing good rates to make projects more affordable.

From steel and cement, to windows and doors, we use branded materials that are internationally approved and UNBS certified. Our sand aggregates, blocks, and other such items are tried and tested to ensure the result is the best in the industry.
